GENERATIONS of Leonard Blandford’s family gathered to celebrate his 100th birthday.
A great great grandfather, Leonard welcomed his children, grandchildren and great great grandchildren to a birthday party at The Bear of Rodborough.
Family and friends joined the former engineer, who was born in Leeds, for a birthday meal on Tuesday, December 2.
Leonard, who lives in Stroud, had three children, Anne, Graham and Marilyn, with his wife Neta.
Besides a card from the Queen, there was also visit from family members from Australia. Leonard’s sister Muriel, who is 103, also attended the gathering.
“I organised my party with Graham and enjoyed it very much,” said Leonard, who enjoys living an independent life.
