POLICE are appealing for information after a 15-year-old girl was approached by a man at a bus stop.
The girl was waiting for a 94 bus in Cheltenham Road, Gloucester, near the Co-operative Supermarket, on the Elmbridge Road side, at 11.40am on Sunday when a silver car slowed down and a man called out repeatedly asking the girl to get into the car.
The girl ignored him and another woman, also waiting for a bus, asked the girl if she knew the man.
When the girl said 'no' the woman told the man to go away.
He waited a few more minutes before driving away.
Police would be grateful for further information and they would like to speak to the woman standing at the bus stop who assisted the teenager.
Please call 101 quoting Incident Number 179 of 21st December 2014.
