A CHRISTMAS wish came true for a choir from Beaudesert Park School.
The singers won the school choirs competition at the Mary Howard Christmas Fair at Hullavington.
More than 10 schools took part to entertain shoppers.
The choir will be presented with a special cup and given £500 prize money.
Karen Taylor, director of music at Beaudesert, said: “It was a lovely event and we were delighted to be invited to enter the contest.
“The children sang really well against some stiff competition, and were absolutely thrilled to win it.
“We are in the throes of having a fantastic new performing arts centre built here at Beaudesert so the £500 prize is very timely, and we are going to use it to buy something special for our choirs and singers to use.”
