A FATHER-SON team from Stroud won the annual Cotswold Clouds Trial at the weekend when more than 80 vintage cars had their wheels put to the test.

In a Morris Trialmaster with a 1647 CC engine, Carl Talbot made it up all the 16 hill climbs winning the event with the lowest score.

Starting in Stonehouse, 83 motors took on hills all over the Cotswolds including climbing the Crooked Mustard – famed for its twisted, steep incline.

Organised by Stroud and District Motor Club since 1963, competitors came to the vintage car trial from all over the UK and covered about 70 miles during the course of the day.
