FROCESTER Hill, near Nympsfield, remains closed after a single vehicle traffic accident earlier this afternoon.
A Subaru Forrester with a trailer hit a tree after leaving the road at about 3.25 pm.
A crane has been sent for to remove the car which is suspended in trees.
Police say the recovery work could take until 9pm.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
Train services have returned to normal after a person was hit by a train earlier this afternoon between Bristol Parkway and Cam and Dursley.
The incident had caused delays but trains are now running on time.
