A 17-YEAR-OLD had his white Honda Civic seized last night after he was found driving around Nailsworth without having passed his driving test.
Police had been given a tip off about the teenager, whose car was not insured, by an anonymous resident.
While police officers were in the area they also spotted the driver of a black Honda Civic fail to stop after a small road traffic collision outside The Old Village Inn on Bath Road at 9.15pm.
No one was injured but the crash had damaged a Toyota and BMW.
Police followed the man, who looked like he was in his teens or early 20s, in hot pursuit before he jumped out of his car, running off in the direction of Tesco.
Officers recovered the vehicle on suspicion that it may have been stolen.
The man is described as 5ft 8 with blondish hair. He was wearing a black top and dark trousers. Anyone with information should call police on 101 with the reference 455-29/7 at 2120 hours.
