AN ELDERLY couple desperately need a helper to walk their dog in Stonehouse.
Robert Wilkes, 71, from Bridgend, Stonehouse, is no longer able to walk eight-year-old Welsh Collie, Max, as he has a leg ulcer.
Volunteers from the Cinnamon Trust, based in Hayle, Cornwall, are helping to organise walks for Max.
"He is a nice friendly dog," said Mr Wilkes.
"He used to be a bit crazy but we had him trained and he is very different now.
"We are looking for a sensible person to walk him once or twice a week.
"He enjoys walks by the canal and in parks."
A person is needed to walk Max on a Tuesday and/or a Friday.
The Cinnamon Trust is a national charity whose volunteers help people over retirement age and those in the latter stages of a terminal illness by offering all kinds of pet care.
