A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in the car park of the Church of the Holy Spirit by Tesco Express in Stratford Road, Stroud.
Several police cars and ambulance crews attended the scene around 6pm.
Police have cordoned off the entrances to the car park which is behind the small church.
An ambulance was park up outside the AutoDeals of Stroud car dealership but has just left with blue lights flashing.
One bystander said he believed a man had been stabbed in the car park and had gone to the car dealership for help.
Several police and paramedic cars were parked up in the car park outside Tesco Express including a ‘critical care’ vehicle.
The Tesco Express remains open.
Most emergency vehicles have just left the Tesco car park.
Officers are speaking to people in the flats in Mathew’s Way.
