A 28–YEAR-OLD Quedgeley motorist was found to be three times over the legal drink-drive limit when stopped by police, magistrates heard.
Marcin Frankienicz of Lyneham Drive in Kingsway was pulled in on July 10 this year and he pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on August 8.
Frankienicz was driving his Vauxhall Vectra along Kingsholm Road when he was stopped and breathalysed.
He registered 102 milligrams of alcohol to 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35.
He also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance or a driving licence.
Magistrates banned him for 28 months, fined him £750 and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85.
