A 45-YEAR-OLD woman accused of damaging Nailsworth War Memorial has appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates.
Hannah Stewart, of Tetbury Lane, Nailsworth, is charged with damaging the memorial on September 8 and assaulting Megan Freeman at Café 28 in the town on the same day.
Stewart was said to have thrown a plant pot at Ms Freeman, forcing her to jump out of the way.
She was granted unconditional bail until Thursday (December 8).
- The war memorial and some parked vehicles were vandalised with spray paint on Thursday, September 9.
Nailsworth Town Council and Stroud District Council cleaned up the mess at the memorial on the corner of Fountain Street and Church Street.
