A 28-YEAR-OLD Leonard Stanley man stole groceries from two supermarkets in Stroud and Dursley, a court heard.
Nathan Arkwell of Sandford Close in Leonard Stanley in admitted two charges of theft when he appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on Wednesday, March 22.
On July 13 last year he stole £211 of meat, cheese and other foods from Tesco in Stroud and on June 11 he stole £121 of meat, flowers and cleaning products from Sainsbury's in Dursley.
Arkwell was fined a total of £100 and ordered to pay £124 compensation. He was also ordered to pay £45 towards prosecution costs.
