VIGILS are being held in Stroud and across the district to show solidarity with the people of Manchester.
At St Laurence Church, Stroud, a vigil will be held from 6pm until 6.30pm.
Cllr Skeena Rathor said: "We will have a vigil so that we can sit with the people of Manchester to send them our love and prayers.
"This is for all of us no matter our background or beliefs.
"Please join us dear Stroudies.
"Together our hearts will heal."
In Stonehouse, people will be meeting at the War Memorial from 6pm, flowers and candles will be placed to show solidarity with the people of Manchester and others that have been affected.
There will be a prayer followed by a minute silence at 6.30pm.
