GLOUCESTERSHIRE Counselling Service is offering some exciting opportunities this winter.
The Stroud-based service is running a number of introduction to counselling and listening skills courses.
As well as giving people a window into the world of counselling, these courses are designed to help develop the capacity to effectively listen to others.
Mike Keating, Head of Training at GCS said: “We are finding that people from all walks of life are joining our introductory courses.
“From those that want a more meaningful career to people who see the incredible value of bringing counselling and listening skills into their working life as well as their personal relationships.
‘There a numerous routes to choose in the field of counselling and it can be overwhelming – so we offer people the chance to discuss their needs – and we have distinct paths for anyone seeking a career in counselling.”
Introduction to Counselling & Listening Skills:
• November 9th – Feb 1st (weekly eve course in Stroud).
• November 11th – 12th (weekend course in Gloucester).
• January 10th 2018 – March 21st (weekly eve course in Cheltenham).
