STROUD schoolboy Dylan Berry will become a mascot for Tottenham Hotspur this Sunday for their Premier League away game against Southampton.
Nine year old Dylan, a junior spurs member, and was randomly picked a from thousands to lead out Spurs players Dele Ali, Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
The lucky mega fan will accompany the first team players when they walk through the tunnel and out onto the turf at Southampton FC's St Mary's Stadium on Sunday.
Initially Dylan's 11 year old brother was picked but Billy knew that it would mean more to his brother, and gave up his place to him.
Speaking of the once in a lifetime opportunity Dylan said: “I can't believe I got picked, it’s going to be the best day of my life!”
Dylan, who is a pupil at St Matthews Primary School, Cainscross, will receive a free kit for being mascot as well as the opportunity to meet the whole team.
Earlier this season the young Spurs fan went to Wembley with his brother and dad to witness Tottenham beat European Champions Real Madrid.
The match will be screened on Sky Sports at 4pm on Sunday.
