THE woman who died after being hit by a train near Frampton Mansell level crossing on Saturday, January 20 has been named as Caroline Jane Thomas.
An inquest was opened yesterday before being adjourned until June 14.
Ms Thomas was 47-years-old and lived in Bussage near Stroud.
British Transport Police responded to a report that a woman had been hit by a train at 12.37pm on Saturday, January 20.
Local police and ambulance crews also attended, but Ms Thomas was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
