OWNERS of a missing, possibly stolen, cocker spaniel puppy from near Wotton-under-Edge, are appealing for public help to get her home.
Little Edith went missing from her bolted kennel in Ozleworth sometime between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
She is seven-months-old, black all over and micro-chipped.
The police have been informed as she may have been stolen, but the owners are hoping that Edith may have been dumped as there have been possible sightings and she may be too 'hot to handle'.
Her owner posted the update to Facebook with the following message: "Our little puppy is missing, maybe stolen.
"Please help us find her by sharing this post and keeping a look out, we really want her home safe," the post said.
A Facebook page has been set up to help co-ordinate searches and sighting updates called **HELP FIND EDITH**GL12
Anyone who can help return the puppy to her worried owners should call 07771 258705 or 07919 673309.
