MCDONALD'S restaurant in Stroud is now closed and will remain so until May 3.
Unfortunately residents will have to travel further afield to play McDonald's Monopoly.
McDonald's Monopoly is the fast food chain's annual game which allows players to win up to £100,000.
Players can claim instant wins in store, but need a full set of colours for larger prizes.
This may come as a blow to fast food fiends across the Stroud district, as the game runs until May 1, which is just two days before the store is scheduled to reopen.
Construction work is currently taking place at the restaurant as part of what is believed to be a refurbishment.
In the meantime, McDonald's fans will have to travel as far as Gloucester or Cirencester to eat their favourite food.
