JOHN Lewis has announced that it will open a new department store in Cheltenham.
The store, which is due to open in October, will offer fashion, home and technology products and services.
Head office are said to be investing £23m in the 115,000 sq ft shop.
John Lewis partner Martin Bundy, who has worked with the company for over 18 years, will be the branch manager for the new store.
Martin explained that he is excited about the new role: “I'm very proud to be given this great opportunity and I’m excited to show the people of Cheltenham our new shop.”
"Before we open we have a lot to do. As well as getting the shop ready we will recruit and train hundreds of new partners ready to deliver outstanding customer service.”
Shoppers can enjoy the new John Lewis store from October 18 this year.
