The Chalford gym of a personal trainer who competes in Ninja Warrior UK has been flooded.
“It’s completely devastating,” said Dion Trigg, who has had to cancel classes while he cleans away the salt and mud that poured into his gym.
“Most of all it’s heartbreaking to have to turn away my ninja students.”
Water has damaged obstacles Dion uses during training sessions, as well as making its way down to the gym’s changing rooms in the basement.
The flood followed a storm on Monday, May 21 that wreaked havoc in Chalford.
DEVASTATED! My Business flooded due to failed responsibilities & drain maintenance by @GlosCC @Ameyplc @stroudlife @Knibbsey pic.twitter.com/K1GLmJ8kt7

Dion blames blocked drains on his road for failing to divert water flowing down from Cowcombe Hill along the A4179.
The drains have since been cleared, and some of Dion’s students have been lending him a hand with sweeping up the mess.
He has been given a claims form to fill out - but, in the meantime, he fears for his business.
“I don’t know what to do to get back on my feet,” said the - for once - unbalanced ninja warrior.
