POLICE have been at the scene of a serious crash on the M5 motorway near Stroud.
The accident, which involved two vehicles, took place around midday today south of the junction 13, Stroud on the southbound carriageway.
Although one vehicle overturned as a result of the crash, no serious injuries have been reported.
Officers are advising drivers to seek alternative routes while they clear 'lots of debris' from the route.
Update: Two vehicles were involved in the collision where one vehicle ended up on its roof. Thankfully there aren't believed to be any serious injuries. Lots of debris will need to be cleared up so please still find an alternative route. Thank you

Currently there are delays of up to an hour on the motorway and drivers are being asked to seek an alternative route until the road is clear.
