A NAILSWORTH company is predicting ‘increased global growth’ after being bought by a major refuelling group.

Fluid Transfer International has been acquired by Flofuel Group to help them grow within the aviation re-fuelling sector.

The company, based on Nailsworth Mills Estate, works with some of the world’s major oil companies, plane operators and military defence organisations.

The Flofuel Group, based in Witney, Oxfordshire, provides airport and marine refuelling equipment such as aircraft re-fuellers and refuelling steps, off-shore and helicopter refuelling.

Steve Henning, Chairman of the Flofuel Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Fluid Transfer International to our growing group and we would like to extend a warm welcome to their team.

“Together, with a wide geographical reach, extended capabilities and capacity we forecast significant growth across each group company and across the group.”

George Maguire, the new Chairman of Fluid Transfer International, said: “Being part of the Flofuel Group offers a number of key benefits to both our company and our team.

“Not only are we able to share capabilities and best practise, we are also now well positioned for even greater future success within this growing and ambitious group.”

Fluid Transfer International will continue to run at its existing location and all staff have been retained.

The Flofuel Group includes Flightline Support, Flofuel Training, Flofuel Support and now Fluid Transfer International.
