A new vets has opened in Nailsworth.
The George Vet Group has brought a clinic to the town, replacing an old Lloyds Pharmacy on George Street.
“We opened our doors for the first time this morning and have already had a dozen people come through,” one of the clinic’s vets, Dr Mike Hollywood, told the SNJ today.
The vets, which is the third 'satellite' clinic opened by the Group, is a small practice, but it has an operating theatre with radiography, dentistry, and ultrasound facilities.
Larger animals and those needing to be hospitalised or kept overnight will have to get treatment at the Group’s main hospital in Malmesbury.
Opening hours for the Nailsworth clinic will be from 9am until 6.30pm on weekdays, and afternoons on Saturdays.
