Clothes from outdoor retailers Millets in Stroud are believed to have been shoplifted last week.
Police were called to the shop at 5.25pm on Friday, August 10.
They believe a man was putting items of clothing into his bag.
The man was identified by police and he later attended a voluntary interview.
