A POLICE helicopter crew has found a 81-year-old woman from Alveston who was last seen on Saturday, August 25.
She was located by the National Police Air Service this afternoon (Monday, August 27) and is understood to have been taken to hospital for checks.
Officers appealed for help to find Maureen Griffin after she went missing from the Lateridge Lane/Larks Lane area of Earthcott Green, Alveston on Saturday night.
Ms Griffin is understood to have been found in the local area.
A statement released by Avon and Somerset Police thanked "everyone who publicised the appeal, offered support, called in with information and kept a look out for her."
