Another week, another community speaking out about anti-social behaviour.
As a paper we find ourselves reporting on this issue far too often and yet there’s no simple answer.
There’s no doubt that cuts to funding and services are having a knock on effect in our towns - on a daily basis members of the public contact us about social issues such as addiction, crime and anti-social behaviour.
But equally every day we hear stories of kindness, generosity and selfless acts within our communities.
And it’s our communities in the Five Valleys that really give us our strength.
There’s strength in numbers and when we all stand together we can make an impact.
So Rodda bringing regulars, families and residents of Horns Road together to send a clear message to the few individuals upsetting a strong community is actually pretty special.
What it says is that we’re stronger than whatever it is that is threatening to damage our towns.
We’re Stroud and proud!
