A POLICE spokesperson has said that an ongoing incident in Stroud town centre this morning poses no risk to members of the public.
Several officers, police cars and a police helicopter are currently responding to a situation near the town's railway station.
"We are responding to an ongoing incident in Stroud at the moment," a police spokesperson said.
"There is no risk to members of the public and no further details will be released at present."
The SNJ was first alerted to the increased police presence at around 11am this morning (September 29).
