An old railway bridge in Chalford is to receive urgent repair work.
Network Rail is beginning work on the Chalford Viaduct next week, removing trees and bushes beforehand to make room for scaffolding.
Repairs to the viaduct, which lies to the east of the village's old station, will mostly be carried out during the daytime, though some work will be done at night.
