ANYONE wanting to meet the 100 daring women who posed naked for a charity calendar should attend tonight's launch party at the Subscription Rooms in Stroud.

Kara Morris, who came up with the idea with the help of her Full Monty Girls, is hoping to sell a chunk of the 3,000 calendars to raise funds for her autistic daughter Rosie.

"This will be a great opportunity for people to meet up and see the calendar for the first time," said Kara, who needs to raise nearly £17,000 for a special educational program in America by March.

"There will be lots of photographs on the walls and information about Rosie, and we will run a few of our television appearances on a loop."

Kara will be running a stall at Stroud farmers' market until Christmas selling the black and white calendars, which can also be bought via Rosie's website, www.chanceforrosie.org.uk.

"I just hope that everyone touched by the story over the last month is going to buy one," said Kara, from Folly Lane, Stroud.

"If we sell them all we will raise £26,000 and I won't have the burden of fundraising - I can just be a mum."

The launch night starts runs tonight, Friday, from 7pm to 10pm, but for those who cannot attend, the exhibition will run all day on Friday and Saturday in the Subscription Rooms.

The calendars are on sale in Moonflower, Made in Stroud, Brilliant Disguise, Amberley Post Office and Stroud Bookshop, priced £10. Proceeds will go to the SNJ-backed Rosie Morris Growing Minds Appeal.
