THE well-established village known as Richmond Painswick has been hailed as a model for retirement living.

This comes after people have travelled as far afield as London for an event designed to showcase the fantastic facilities and assisted living suites available to those who inhabit the village.

Rosemary Dent, who has lived in the village since 2015 said: "I immediately felt at home here and love telling people all about our village and showing them around."

Visitors were given a comprehensive tour of the facilities which include a wellness spa, treatment rooms, apartments, a care home and the terrace overlooking the Painswick Valley.

Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, Richmond Painswick is a retirement village with a range of properties.

Village manager, Stephen Griffin said: "A number of people were local as well as those who travelled from London, and their feedback was all very positive.

"It was great to see so many showing an interest."
