The police van where a man was arrested in King Street
A man has been arrested in Stroud today.
The arrest was made just before 2pm this afternoon in the town centre.
An eyewitness to the arrest said: "I saw two police officers arrest a man and put him in a police van."
The incident took place in King Street just opposite WHSmith.
Gloucestershire Police have been contacted for comment.
