AS the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade draws to a close, there is a final chance to see two different dramatic performances commemorating the event.
On Saturday at the Museum in the Park, Stroud based theatre company Spaniel in the Works will present Inhuman Traffic, offering four different characters views of slavery and was developed for the Gloucestershire Archives virtual exhibition to commemorate the abolition of the Slave Trade.
The powerful performance looks at the historical perspective and modern day slavery, through the testimonies of the characters.
Spaniel in the Works will also be presenting Master and Slave, which looks at the complete history of slavery from early slavery to modern times.
Inhuman Traffic is suitable for children over the age of 11. Performances are at 11.30am and 2.45pm on Saturday, October 6. Tickets cost £4 and £3.
Master and Slave is suitable for children over the age of 7. The performance is at 1pm on Saturday, October 6. Tickets cost £2 and £1.50 and are available from the Museum in the Park.
