The urgent need for action on climate change will be the focus of a talk by a former Labour MP in Nailsworth on Thursday, January 10.
Alan Simpson’s free talk is titled Avoiding Climate Breakdown: the time for change is now and he will argue for a radical shift in thinking on energy policy.
He believes the solution is as much about democracy as technology, and about systems rather than just supply.
The talk, which will also be attended by Stroud MP David Drew, will be at the Arkell Centre, Nympsfield Road, Nailsworth, GL6 at 7pm.
