A girl from Stroud could win big at Crufts after raising over £3,000 to save unwanted dogs on the streets.
Georgie, a Year 9 from Stroud High School, is a regular competitor at the international show with her Romanian street dog, Bella.
But, since adopting Bella when she was 10, Georgie has had a huge concern for the plight of unwanted dogs both in the UK and abroad, and she has been raising cash to help.
Painted glasses, huge batches of liver cake and water-fetching are just some of the first activities Georgie has embarked on while at dog shows to get the money.
But, as she raised more and more, Georgie kept raising her targets - and she eventually secured a £2,000 order for 500 painted glasses for the South West Agility Training's 2019 show trophies.
She has now raised £3,351 in the last 3 and a half years from all her fundraising.
Her staggering achievement has caught the eye of the Young Kennel Club, which has nominated her for its Fundraiser of the Year award.
She will find out if she has won in March when she heads to this year's Crufts with Bella.
