Giggle with Chris McCausland, Thursday, March 28
King’s Head, Cirencester
Chris is blind, has been performing stand-up since 2003, and has long been firmly established at the very top of the UK’s live comedy circuit. He performs all over the country, including regularly at the world famous Comedy Store in the heart of London’s West End.

Duncan Oakley at CrazyBird, Thursday, April 4
The Malthouse Bar & Kitchen, Stroud
Headlining this evening at the CrazyBird Comedy Club will be the super talented Duncan Oakley. Duncan performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up that has seen him become one of the leading headliners in the business.

Tweedy’s illusion confusion, Saturday, April 6
Subscription Rooms, Stroud
The slapstick legend and star of Gifford’s Circus and Cirque Berserk returns with an all new show of magic & mayhem. Tweedy has had enough of getting sawn in half by the world’s top magicians as their assistant and decided to become the magician instead.

Musical comedy by Les Admirables, Saturday, June 1

Les Admirables is a musical comedy show by multi-award-winning comedian Harriet Braine, which focuses on a selection of women from the history of science and technology. Some of them you will be familiar with, others perhaps not!

A memoir with Miles Jupp, Friday, April 26
Armstrong Hall, Thornbury
Beginning the fiftieth Anniversary of Thornbury Arts Festival will be a Q&A with Miles Jupp, presenter of BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and a regular on panel shows such as QI, Mock the Week and Have I Got News for You, where he will chat about his new childhood memoir.

The Silver Uberglee, Thursday, March 14
Hen & Chicken Studio, Bristol
With Bristol’s St Peter’s Hospice, The Comedy Box has put together a second show which commemorates 25 years of operation titled The Silver UberGlee (Part 2). This one features Jon Richardson, who was a regular at the Hen & Chicken while he was living in Bristol.
