STROUD District Council chief executive Kathy O'Leary will be answering SNJ readers' questions.
Kathy joined the council last November, and replaced the previous head of the council David Hagg, who retired following nearly two decades at the council.
She was offered the top job after an all-party group of councillors and party leaders unanimously agreed that she was the right person for the role.
Now, just five months after taking up the post she has kindly agreed to answer questions put to her by readers of the Stroud News and Journal, details of how to do submit your questions can be found at the bottom of the article.
When her appointment was announced Kathy, who left her role as strategic director of resources at Tandridge District Council in Surrey to join the council, said that she was looking forward to working in the diverse district.
“I am delighted to be joining Stroud District Council as its new chief executive," she said.
"I am looking forward to working with local people, the council and its partners to continue to deliver high quality services and work ambitiously for the benefit of the residents and businesses of this attractive and diverse district.”
Now Kathy has had the opportunity to settle into her new role, this is the chance for SNJ readers to put their questions to her, so let us know what questions should be included, and what the burning issues that you would like the answers to.
Our reporter Huw Mabe will be interviewing Kathy on April 9 at Ebley Mill, you can submit your questions on this link, no later than midnight, March 31.
