Hundreds of Stroud students held another protest over climate change today (Friday).
The march, organised by Stroud's Youth Strike 4 Climate, this time focussed on ecocide in light of the death of Polly Higgins.
Starting outside Archway's anti slavery arch, the march went past Marling and Stroud High School before ending up at Wallbridge.
The protestors then marched through Stroud, chanting and holding placards before pausing outside the Sub Rooms.
Speeches were then made and Anita van Rossum, who worked with Polly Higgins, said: "Polly always said 'Business is great, make a profit but not at the cost of the Earth.'"
Dan Green, Archway pupil and co-organiser of the strike, acknowledged the government had declared a climate emergency but called on people to 'continue to shout' and make sure real change is made.
Protestors then returned to Wallbridge causing some traffic disruption on Rowcroft.
