Stroud Rotary Club is looking forward to the Stroud Show on July 13 and meeting residents.
It will be joining forces with the Rotary associations of nearby Stonehouse, Nailsworth and Severn Vale to showcase the community endeavours that the local clubs have been supporting this year.
They include the recent sponsorship of 12 children from St Rose's School, Stroud, who attended the recent 'Rotary Kids Out Day' on June 12 at Cattle Country Adventure Farm Park, Berkeley.
Some 730 children were able to enjoy the park's adventure activities thanks to sponsorship of their entry fee by Gloucestershire Rotary Clubs.
Closer to home, Rotary members have continued their many charitable, fundraising events, including in aid of Stroud Foodbank.
Volunteers collected donations from shoppers at the Tesco superstore on Stratford Road, filling 20 boxes of items in three hours.
Stroud Rotary is also looking forward to its annual golf competition on July 23 to which it welcomes new players.
It will take place at the Old Course, Minchinhampton. Tee off is between 4-6pm.
