STROUD Show returns this weekend, with some exciting new activities and some old favourites too.
Taking place in Stratford Park on Saturday, from 12pm onwards, the event will feature an array of livestock, with Dexter cows, Cotswold sheep, goats, alpacas, carthorses and other animals making an appearance.
There'll be dog shows too, and a chance for gardeners to exhibit their flowers and vegetables in the horticultural show.
Young musicians can enter the Stroud’s Got Talent battle of the bands competition.
And, after a gap of nearly 20 years, the popular brick throwing competition is back.
The show starts with a procession at 12pm, followed by the judging of the fancy dress.
Children can get in the mood for the show right away, by taking part in the Stroud Show colouring competition.
The colouring competition sketch is available to download at stroudshow.co.uk or copies can be picked up from the Stroud News and Journal office on Lansdown.
