Stroud High reunion for the 1966 intake
A HIGH school reunion is being organised on Saturday, November 2 for former Stroud Girls High pupils.
The informal evening will welcome together those former schoolgirls who started the school in 1966.
It will take place at Stroud Premier Inn (Old Nelson) in Stratford Road at 7.30pm.
"We will be meeting for drinks and a catch-up in the bar to share news – good and bad – laugh at old memories and pass round photos," says spokesman Sally Meek.
"This year many of us will be aged 64 or thereabouts, so it's quite special to we remember ourselves as 11-year-old First Formers!
