A FAMILY-RUN gym in Stroud has won an industry award.
Fitness Mill, at Griffin Mill in London Road, Thrupp, has been named Best Fitness Business in Gloucestershire.
The recognition was part of the Gloucestershire Retail Business Awards run by England Business Awards, and means Fitness Mill is a finalist in the national awards.
Jordan Hulcoop, manager at Fitness Mill, said: "We feel extremely proud to have won this award and it just shows how much hard work our team have put in over recent years.
"It is incredible to see that our family run gym has beaten franchise gyms to the award and to now be put forward for the British finals is fantastic."
Jordan added: "We have been keeping Stroud fit for 26 years this year so this award really does mean so much to us and how far we have come.
"We are so privileged to have such amazing members who support us in everything we do."
