DELICIOUS cakes are being sold by students in Stroud today to raise money for charity, writes Ewan Davie.
Students are holding a bake sale as a fundraiser for the Stroud Foodbank as part of their National Citizenship Service.
The have a stall outside the Coventry Building Society in King Street.
The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a programme for students aged 15-17 aimed to give young people experiences to help them going forward.
Part of this programme involves a volunteering project for a local charity.
This group are also holding a pub quiz at the Queen Vic, Stroud on Wednesday, July 24 from 6pm to 8pm.
