Today has been the big day back at school for many of Stroud's children.
Those who have started school for the first time include Etta Stewart at Uplands Primary, Maeve Aldam, 4, who started Thrupp Primary School and Lucas Wynn, 6, who joined Park Junior School at Stonehouse where his big sister Maci, 7, already attends.
Isaac Mansell from Dursley, who suffers from Opsoclonus Myoclonus, an autoimmune neurodisorder, who not only enjoyed his first day of school, but celebrated his 5th birthday on September 3.
Bailey Nicholls and his younger sister Ella from Stonehouse have been reunited at school with Ella starting year 7 of Maidenhill School where her elder brother is in year 10.
Monty Cooper started Marling Sixth Form earlier this week and younger brother Windsor beginning Year 11 at Marling School.
Finally, Lucy Wilkins, 7, started back in year 3 at Amberley Parochial School today. Mum Kay got in touch to say, "Lucy got on well today."
Good luck to all Stroud students for the term and their new learning adventures ahead.
