PCSO Gary Lynch, of the policing team for Stroud, has appealed for information after a house was broken into on Saturday.
He said: "Were you in the area of the footpaths that route from Stratford Road to Mathews Way, via Jack Russell Close, or the footpath that routes from Jack Russell Close to Mathews Way?
"This would have been on January 18 between the hours of 8.15am and 4.30pm.
"Were you disturbed by loud banging? Did you see anyone loitering or paying particular attention around the rear car park areas? Did you see a vehicle that may have appeared out of the ordinary?
"A home was broken into from its rear access."
