THE Stonehouse Pharmacy is appealing for volunteers to help deliver medication to housebound patients on a Tuesday and Thursday.
The pharmacy remains open but is asking for volunteers to help, with coronavirus impacting communities and the NHS up and down the country.
In a letter, the pharmacy said: "Here at Stonehouse Pharmacy we remain open throughout this tough time.
"We are working hard with patients, GPs and other NHS professionals to service our local community.
"However, we are under great pressures and it would be terrific if those who are fit, healthy and available to help could get in touch.
"Please come in and see us if you are able to help.
"Please leave your name, phone number and what day or even both days and we will get back to you if we need you.
"Your local Pharmacy team in Stonehouse."
