AN INTERACTIVE map is allowing people to see how many coronavirus-related deaths there have been in their postcode area.
The map - from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) - shows all deaths that occurred in England and Wales between March 1 and May 31, and registered by June 6, where Covid-19 was mentioned as a cause on the death certificate.
According to the data, there have been four deaths in central Stroud; eleven in Ebley and Randwick (the areas are grouped together on the map); ten in Stonehouse; four in Rodborough and Thrupp (the areas are grouped together on the map); three in Chalford and Bussage; four in Painswick, Bisley and Eastcombe (the areas are grouped together on the map); ten in Nailsworth, and one in Minchinhampton and Amberley.
The Office for National Statistic websites states that: "Points on the map are placed at the centre of the local area they represent and do not show the actual location of deaths.
"The size of the circle is proportional to the number of deaths.
"Figures exclude death of non-residents and are based on May 2020 boundaries."
