A 15 year old boy who was seriously injured in a collision which closed Metz Way in Gloucester on Thursday has sadly died in hospital, police have reported.
The boy, from Stonehouse, had been rushed to Bristol Children's Hospital after the collision between a Toyota Rav 4 and an Iveco lorry at 3.30pm that afternoon.
Police confirmed yesterday that the boy had tragically lost his battle for life.
A 66 year old woman was also injured in the collision. The road was closed for more than six hours afterwards for a full police investigation.
Police are appealing for dashcam footage or witnesses to the incident.
