RESIDENTS concerned about the lockdown and the associated restrictions held a street forum in Stroud today.
The group set up a stall on King Street and invited passersby to discuss some of the issues, and to vote on whether there should be another lockdown.
One of the group, Debbie Hicks said: "We're not actually pushing any particular issue or cause, or saying we should be this or we should be that, we just want people to talk and vote.
"Most people are voting 'no'. But this is just what we're getting from the street, obviously it's not completely representative.
"We're just all sorts of individuals from the community that have come together.
"We decided that we needed to do more to open up a dialogue and to get people questioning about civil liberties, freedoms, rights, because we 're just really concerned that the lockdown is having an impact on everyone - on the elderly, on people's jobs and on their ability to live properly.
"So we just feel we have to talk about it, because it's causing a lot of problems."
