POPULAR Stroud pub, the Prince Albert, features in a new BBC TV series with TV chef Tom Kerridge, which is set to hit TV screens this evening.
Tom Kerridge's latest TV show, Saving Britain’s Pubs, sees the Gloucester-born chef visit four struggling pubs across the UK and attempt to turn their fortunes around - including the Prince Albert in Rodborough.
In episode one, Tom introduces three of the pubs.
In South London, one venue has become a community hub for a limited clientele and the landlord wants to appeal to more people.
Down in Cornwall, another hostelry reconsiders its layout. And at the Prince Albert, Tom looks at the pricing of beer.
Saving Britain’s Pubs with Tom Kerridge is on BBC Two on Thursday evenings at 8pm from tonight (November 12).
