A Dursley man who drove with excess levels of cocaine in his blood has been banned from the roads for 14 months.
Shane Stephens, 36, of Third Avenue, Highfield, pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court last Friday to driving in Tredworth Road, Gloucester, with cocaine and Benzoylecgonine (a cocaine metabolyte) in his body at illegal levels.
The incident occurred on April 20, 2020.
Mr Stephens has been fined £120 and ordered to pay £40 costs and a £34 surcharge to fund victim services.
The magistrates gave him until January 29 to pay the total due of £194.
