A man who supplied cocaine sold by Stroud drug dealers was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison.

Eris Hoti, 33, of Carlton Drive, London, was arrested at Luton Airport on August 18 with £10,000 in cash in his suitcase while trying to catch a flight to Albania, where he is originally from.

He pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy to supply cocaine and one charge of possession of criminal property last October.

Hoti moved drugs from London through a Gloucester-based organised crime gang to five men from Stroud who were jailed in May 2019.

Intoxicated by strong lager, a verbally abusive Neil Carter, 57, of Juniper Way, turned off the lights in the lounge where his partner was sitting before attacking her with a knife on December 21.

A Stonehouse woman who took part in robbing a couple in Gloucester Park was jailed for two years and nine months.

Charmaine Coulson, 34, of Benton Court, Stonehouse, pleaded guilty at Gloucester Crown Court to robbery and to fraudulent use of a bank card she took from her victim.
